Our mission
EquitiesIndia.com exists to be the most comprehensive, transparent, and SEBI-compliant educational resource for Indian retail investors. We publish evergreen guides, interactive calculators, historical company profiles, broker reviews, and sector primers — all designed to help investors understand concepts before they transact.
We are not a SEBI-registered Investment Adviser or Research Analyst. We do not give tips, targets, or stock-specific recommendations. Every piece of content on this site is educational, and all price data carries a minimum 90-day lag as mandated by SEBI's 2025 finfluencer framework.
What we publish
- Education Hub — long-form guides on fundamentals, taxation, derivatives, IPOs, mutual funds, and personal finance, written specifically for the Indian market.
- Calculators— free, no-signup, client-side tools (SIP, lumpsum, LTCG/STCG, brokerage comparison, F&O margin, options Greeks, retirement planner, and more).

- Nifty 500 stock profiles — programmatic, public-filing-based company pages (coming soon).

How we make money
Transparency matters. EquitiesIndia.com earns revenue from:
- Display advertising — Google AdSense and managed ad platforms.
- Broker affiliate links — we may earn a commission when you open an account through our links with brokers like Upstox, Angel One, 5Paisa, and Groww. Affiliate links are always clearly labelled.
- Tool affiliate links — similar referral relationships with financial tools and platforms.
- Amazon book affiliate links — commissions on book purchases made through our recommendation links.
We never let affiliate relationships influence the accuracy or objectivity of our content. Our brokerage calculator, for example, includes Zerodha (with whom we have no affiliate arrangement) alongside brokers where we do earn commissions.
Our technology
The site is built with Next.js, TypeScript, and Tailwind CSS, deployed on Vercel's global edge network. Every page is statically prerendered for maximum speed and accessibility. We prioritise Core Web Vitals (LCP, CLS, INP) because fast pages are both a better experience for you and a Google ranking factor that helps our content reach more people.
Our compliance infrastructure includes an automated banned-vocabulary scanner that runs on every code push. If any piece of content accidentally uses words like "target" or "recommendation", the build fails before it reaches production.
